Determine Where You're Headed

“If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else.” - Yogi Berra

We have shared in the past just how important it is to look back, review past efforts and evaluate (and reevaluate) progress and return - but it’s equally as important when creating plans to look forward with a critical eye. Goals like “make more money” or “find new clients” are pretty generic. Look at your past to set yourself up for the future. How many new clients are realistic? How much can you grow your income without sacrificing other important things?

Once you have your thoughtful, realistic and attainable goals established, evaluate every action to make sure it plays a role in meeting those goals. Anything that doesn’t, throw out and make time and space for the things that will.
