Clients Have Non-Legal Needs, Too
We hope that each of you were minimally affected by the hurricanes that came through the U.S in the Fall of 2017. In times of disaster, don't forget to reach out to your clients, specifically those you know who are in the affected areas. Are they safe? Are their families safe? Are their homes OK?
Your profession is one that protects clients from harm and defends them when needed. Times like these are no exception. If they have needs, see how you and your firm can help meet them. Perhaps it is connecting them with the proper resources, people or information, or volunteering with or donating to a relief organization.
Just as you would do if they let you know of a potential or actual legal threat, reach out to let them know you are available and willing to lend a hand personally as well.
