A: Charleston, SC is my favorite city and I'd love to live there someday.

Q: What is your idea of happiness?
A: Working hard and having success at whatever I'm doing. Closing a deal at work, hitting a great golf shot, or having a great performance in my 80s new wave band makes me happiest. And spending time with my wife and daughter of course.

Q: Who is your real-life hero?
A: Former San Diego Padres player Tony Gwynn. He started using video and analytics to be a better hitter than anyone else. He was my hero growing up and his work ethic is something I always admired and aspire to match.

Q: What is your greatest fear?
A: Anything ever happening to my family.

Q: To what faults do you feel most indulgent?

Q: What got you into working in the legal industry?
A: I was working as a graphic designer for a copy company in the same building as a law firm in 2001. The law firm asked me to come work for them and I had no clue what I was getting into. But it's worked out pretty well.

Q: Your favorite musician or band?
A: The Cure

Q: What would you consider your greatest achievement?
A: I was one of the first law firm business development professionals who built their own network and brought in business. I still don't understand why more firms haven't adopted that model.

A: Play a ton of golf and travel.

Q: Who would you have liked to be?
A: Tiger Woods between 1996 - 2003.
