How Are You REALLY?
In light of this month’s focus on mental health, we want to check in with you. How are you doing? …How are you REALLY doing?
While we are certainly not licensed therapists or psychologists, we have found that many of our coaching sessions naturally lead into deeper and personal conversations. We are able to help our coachees see things from new perspectives, discover things they may be overlooking, or even uncover a solution to a problem. It is an honor to be able to work through things with our clients.
Do you have someone with which you are able to talk things through? How do you mentally unload or sort through mental clutter? Are you a list person? If you aren’t working through things verbally, we encourage you to try a brain dump. Just before bed, write down all of your thoughts - long form, bullets, keywords - whatever suits you. Gather those thoughts that tumble around your brain in the quiet moments before falling asleep and transfer them to something tangible. Try it for one week and see if it helps!
