What is Society 54?
This is a question we are asked frequently. Often confused with the notorious nightclub “Studio 54”, we promise we are just as fun but we are very different.
As defined by Merriam-Webster, a society is a voluntary association of individuals for common ends, working together or periodically meeting because of common interests, beliefs, or profession; an enduring and cooperating social group whose members have developed organized patterns of relationships through interaction with one another.
This is exactly what we have with our clients – a shared desire for positive outcomes, a common interest in your business and enduring relationships. Society 54 is an inclusive “society” invested in, and devoted to helping create a framework for success for each of our clients.
Why “54”? Seemingly a random number, it is actually quite simple. 54 is the NAICS code (North American Industry Classification System, a code system used by businesses and governments to classify businesses) for the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services supersector, which includes law, accounting and architecture/engineering. That’s it! No math or lucky numbers involved.
