Interactive retreats

Creation and facilitation

We are sure that your internal teams are great about gathering for regular meetings where strategic planning, state of the firm discussions, and relationship development are all prioritized and worked on, right? Yeah, we didn’t think so. Don’t feel badly, though. This is a common issue, and the reason for the origin of professional service firm retreats.

Retreats are important and practical tools for discussing important issues, mapping plans for firm goals and fostering relationships, ideally away from the busyness of day-to-day office life. Because getting professionals out from behind their desks and gathering everyone together is a rarity, it’s important that significant planning goes into the retreat so that the time together is fruitful.

Society 54 loves to help firms in creating and facilitating interactive and valuable retreat sessions. Our forte is encouraging small group discussions, and facilitating brainstorming, goal setting and planning sessions.

During the planning process, we hold discussions with various people within the firm to discover what the issues and goals are for the retreat. From there, a proposed agenda based on the priorities and objectives will be presented, and after receiving your feedback, will be adjusted and finalized. We can also help with gathering and analyzing firm financial data, provide information on requested subjects and trends, and raise questions to encourage dialog among your professionals.

Our mission is to provide a positive experience for all retreat participants through discussions, encouraging teamwork, answering concerns and questions, and assisting in planning and implementation of goals. We also aim to make sessions fun and memorable to create positivity and buy-in. Need help post-retreat? Scheduling follow-up calls with individuals based on their specific goals is a specialty of ours.

We brought in Jill and Heather to train our attorneys on marketing and business development strategies during our partners’ retreat. They did so in a very informative and interactive way that showed everyone how they, individually, can be successful by taking small steps each day. They provided us with tools and data that break the ice in client outreach and showed us that marketing can be a fun way to connect with others. Society 54 comes with the highest recommendation from me for any professional services organization looking to re-energize its marketing and business development efforts.

We used Society 54 (Jill and Heather) to help facilitate teamwork activities at our recent firm retreat and received nothing but positive feedback from everyone in attendance. They worked closely with our team on the front end to put together a customized presentation that really served our needs and goals. They were the perfect combination of engaging and informative. Their knowledge of and experience within the legal industry helped bring a level of credibility and practicality to their presentation that made this a good use of everyone’s time. I would highly recommend their services for anyone looking for an outside source to help facilitate a firm retreat or other event.

We hired Jill and Heather for a business development program at our firm retreat. It was clear that they spent a lot of time getting to know our firm as they were well prepared and very engaging. They provided good industry insights and everyone had a lot of fun at the same time.

We engaged Heather and Jill to conduct a couple sessions as part of a partners’ offsite retreat. They were quick to adapt to the style of our organization, and succeeded in engaging almost everyone in playful challenges that led to thought provoking conclusions. They kept the dialogue moving, were entertaining and yet always on message. They received strong feedback among participants. I would recommend their services to any organization looking for internal revitalization or improved client communication.

Heather McCullough was retained to present on cross-selling during our annual attorney retreat. Retreat programming can be difficult to plan because of the wide variety of experience levels, but Heather delivered an engaging and practical program that was relevant to all. She was able to bring our attorneys together in a positive way that will impact how we work together moving forward.
