Becoming a Thought Leader

We all need and want to attract new clients, right? Part of that attraction process includes proving your credibility and knowledge to them. They want to know that you're an expert, that you have great connections, that you're innovative in your solutions, and that you're "the" person to know in your field. Becoming a "thought leader" doesn't happen by accident.

Think about the people in your industry that you consider to be at the top of their game. What have they done to position themselves as thought leaders in your view? We are willing to bet that they have taken steps showcase and share their knowledge through writing articles, blogging, and speaking on various topics.

These tasks are time consuming, there is no denying it. But try to think of one well-known expert in a field that does not devote time to one or more of these. Having trouble? Ditto. Want you to be a thought leader? Be intentional - with your schedule, with your efforts, and with your priorities.
