Society 54 Director, Cecilia Linton, is an accomplished legal marketing professional with an extensive array of experience. She is the rare legal marketer who has served in leadership roles for marketing/creative services, business development, and project management/operations. With more than 20 years of experience for regional, national, and international firms, there is no area she hasn't seen or challenge she hasn’t tackled.

Cecilia can jump in and assist with a variety of legal marketing issues and is passionate about communications and tailored messaging while providing operations strategies to help projects, initiatives, and firms run more smoothly. Cecilia has coached individual lawyers on personal communications and business development and has also worked with practice areas to achieve group goals. She has helped firms launch various culture-changing initiatives, including firmwide CRM systems, business development software initiatives, and competitive intelligence resources. In addition, figuring out how to help companies operate more efficiently just makes her happy.

Cecilia recognizes the importance of diversity initiatives and served as the OnTrack Program Lead for Diversity Lab in 2021, where she helped leverage the power of teams and technology to ensure fair and equitable access to sponsors and career advancement opportunities for all lawyers. She is also an active member of the Legal Marketing Association and has served in leadership roles in both her local city group and region. She has served as a speaker at numerous local meetings and had spots on the program for both regional and national conferences.

Cecilia has dual degrees in advertising and art from the University of Texas (Hook 'em Horns!). She lives outside Austin in the Texas Hill Country in Wimberley, Texas, with her husband, daughter, twin sons, a cat, numerous fish, the cattle that belong to the subdivision, and whatever critter comes through the yard.

• Birthday: February 16

• Lives on six acres "in the middle of nowhere" where cable TV is still not an option. (Don't worry, she has reliable internet.)

• While she is a Hispanic from South Texas, don't ask her to go out for Mexican food. (She sees the irony in not liking it, but "it's overpriced and never as good as mom makes it".)

• Won't drink wine, but is happy to share some vodka, dark beer, or cider with you.

• Her biggest challenge is keeping up with her kids: Olivia plays college volleyball, James is working on his helicopter pilots license, and robert is working on his commercial pilots license. They all keep their mom on her toes and make sure that she maintains a high level of ability to adapt to change.
