Business Development Executive:

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving new revenue for Society 54’s key technology products. The ideal candidate will be able to establish relationships with potential buyers and generate business for the firm.

Essential Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Develop strong relationships within professional service arena (including legal, accounting and architecture/engineering firms).
  • Proactively identify business development opportunities, research, pitch new business, and drive such opportunities from concept to execution.
  • Writing and/or reviewing responses, tracking outcomes and seeking client feedback on pitches.
  • Evaluate customers’ needs and build productive, long-lasting relationships.
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data.
  • Attend and participate in Department meetings and retreats (as needed).
  • Oversee and report on client analytics, including market trends and other business information.
  • Identify and aggressively pursue target prospects and business partners. (This position requires substantial cold contacting).

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of two years of business development and/or sales experience.
  • Experience with professional service firms, and/or intangibles is strongly preferred.
  • Presence, credibility, persuasiveness, resilience and follow through to achieve stated goals.
  • Executive gravitas and polish, with the ability to influence people at all levels to respond and collaborate.
  • Superior client service ethic, communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to gather information from a broad range of sources and to influence others to make changes.
  • Self-motivated and driven with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, manage time well, and work independently.
  • Superior attention to detail and pride in high quality deliverables.
  • BA/BS degree highly preferred.

Salary:

    Transitional Marketing and Business Development Manager:

    The Transitional Marketing and Business Development Manager will be responsible for working directly with Society 54 clients to accomplish their marketing and BD goals, fill temporary gaps in their departments and assist with Society 54’s branding and marketing. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has excellent time management skills and is an overall team player.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Work directly with clients to discuss and map their goals related to marketing, communications, branding and business development.
    • Assist with the implementation and execution of goals, and report progress to client.
    • Contribute to marketing and business development efforts of Society 54, including social media, website, branded items and other needs as they arise.
    • Aid in the pursuit of business development opportunities including pitch creation, software demos and follow up efforts.
    • Attend and participate in Department meetings and retreats (as needed).

    Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • A minimum of two years of legal business development, marketing and/or sales experience.
    • Self-motivated and strong work ethic, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, manage time well and work independently.
    • Superior client service ethic, communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and price in high-quality, professional work deliverables.
    • BA/BS degree highly preferred.
